What is the MKACF Shero Program?
The MKACF Shero Program is more than just a title or an accolade; it's a symbol of unwavering commitment, compassion, and a relentless drive to make a positive difference in the world. Each year, one exceptional individual will be appointed as the Foundation's Shero, tasked with championing our causes and initiatives – in helping women impacted by cancer diagnoses and domestic violence – directly to the masses. Their responsibilities would encompass a range of activities aimed at promoting the organization's mission, increasing awareness, and engaging with our sales force at company events.
National Sales Director Josée D’Anjou will serve as our MKACF Shero for the 2025 Seminar year. Josée's journey is one of courage, strength, and determination. As a breast cancer survivor, she has faced adversity head-on, navigating the ups and downs of diagnosis, treatment, and recovery with grace and resilience.
But Josée's story goes beyond her own personal journey. It's a testament to the power of hope, community, and the human spirit. Throughout her battle with cancer, Josée has not only fought for her own well-being but has also become a fierce advocate for others facing similar challenges.
With compassion and empathy, Josée has dedicated herself to supporting women subject to domestic violence and those navigating the daunting road of cancer diagnosis and treatment. She understands firsthand the importance of a strong support network, of having someone to lean on during life's darkest moments.
As our Shero, Josée will be at the forefront of our Foundation's efforts to champion these causes, lending her voice, her experiences, and her positive spirit to make a tangible difference in the lives of others.
